At NAB 2025 in Las Vegas, Kelvin was showing a prototype of its upcoming Versa Mount. The Versa Mount is a Bowens-S mount compatible lighting modifier that has been designed with versatility in mind, hence its name.

You can use it as a 15-45 degree Fresnel with the included 10″ Fresnel lens, or you can take it out and put in a different lighting modifier, or attach barn doors.

This looks to be a clever solution as you don’t need to buy whole new modifiers to change how you light. At least to my knowledge, this is the first time there has been a removable Fresnel lens in a modifier.
The prototype being shown will look a little bit different once it starts shipping, but it was designed to mimic an old school camera from the past.
Price & Availability
The Kelvin Versa Mount will be available in October, and it will ship with the 10″ Fresnel for $699 USD.
