Saramonic Timecode NEO

At NAB 2025 in Las Vegas, Saramonic was showing a yet-to-be-announced NEO timecode sync device.

NEO will work with Saramonic’s new K9 wireless microphone system, as well as any other camera, audio device, etc. that can output or receive timecode.

NEO is very lightweight and compact. There is a very clear and concise screen that gives you detailed information and allows you to make changes. You can also control NEO through an app.

The internal battery is claimed to provide up to 24 hours of continual use. If you buy NEO in a three-kit version, it comes with a nice rechargeable case, which is something I personally haven’t seen before.

Saramonic told me that the timecode drift is only 1 frame in 48 hours.

As NEO has the ability to take a timecode signal or output one, you can use it with other timecode devices such as those from Tentacle Sync and Deity.

Saramonic will also be selling a wide array of cables so you can use NEO with a wide array of products.

Pricing & Availability

A single Saramonic Timecode NEO will be around $150 USD, and the three-pack that comes in a charging case will be around $599 USD. It is expected to start shipping in May.
