Tilta first showed the VND at Cine Gear 2024 and today it’s ready to go. They have made several updates to the prototype based on feedback.

The eND 4 x 5.65″ filter can be controlled with the new Nucleus MII and Nano Wireless systems or locally on the filter. A USB-C connection to a USB-C battery source powers it.

The strength is 1.5 to 5 stops of neutral density. Tilkta states is a slight color shift; however, you do get this with almost all ND filters.

The electronic VND is a 4 x 5.65″ Filter so you will need a matte box to accommodate the system.
