Both the XCell 99 and XCell 150 have an advanced ColorID™ OLED Monitor®, protected by Gorilla Glass for rugged, on-set durability. It offers real-time battery percentage and remaining runtime, dynamically updating every five seconds for pinpoint accuracy. The ColorID system allows users to assign one of five unique color themes to each pack, making it easy to group batteries by camera, production role, or user preference. This customizable identification system enhances on-set organization and paves the way for future fleet management tools via Core SWX’s upcoming rewards portal, where owners can upload company logos for display during startup and asset tagging via USB-C.
They communicate seamlessly with SMBUS-compatible cameras and chargers, ensuring runtime data and charge status are always accurate and accessible. The power output architecture is tailored for high-efficiency operation across a variety of gear without adding bulk or complexity.
Equipped with dedicated 8V and 12V DC barrel outputs, the XCell 99 enables direct connection to DSLRS, wireless video systems, follow-focus motors, and monitors without the need for external converters.
