SWIT has officially announced its new K15 and K21 Monitors. These new 1920 x 1080 FHD 10-bit IPS Panels look to offer lots of features and functionality at a very affordable price.
Unlike some of their other monitors that are aimed more at broadcast applications, the new K15 and K21 are being targeted more at the cine market. They also feature a much more streamlined and modern look than previous SWIT monitors.

SWIT has come up with an entirely new operating system that looks very similar to the PageOS system that SmallHD has. On the K15 and K21, you can add various pages and then customize those pages with various monitoring tools. The SCENE OS allows you to create up to 8 customizable Scenes, and within each scene, users can define 8 shortcuts of the tools, for quick access to essential tools.
Both monitors offer the usual array of video monitoring tools.
What is nice is that there is support for the customization of any aspect ratio for composition guides, allowing you to mark any desired aspect ratio required for your video project on a 16:9 screen.
The false color tool allows you to set any exposure parameters for Black Clip / Near Black, White Clip / Near White, Tone1 range / Tone2 range. Being able to customize False Color is very handy, especially when working with different camera systems.
The monitors support various anamorphic de-squeeze ratios such as 1.33x, 1.4x, 1.5x, 1.6x, 1.8x, 1.9x, and 2x.
Users are able to adjust the zebra display ranges by defining their own overexposure and underexposure areas. Overexposure – blue/white zebra stripes, Underexposure – black/white zebra stripes.
The monitor supports up to 10x User 3DLUTs upload via the front USB-A port. 17×17×17 or 33×33×33 cubes; Any formats (FAT32 or NTFS); Put to any folder of the disk; Display the original cube file name.
You can attach an X-rite CC Display Pro HL Probe by connecting to the rear USB-C port. You don’t need a computer or any external connections. Complete calibration can be done in just 2 minutes.
Both monitors have SDI In and Out, as well as HDMI In and Out, an integrated V-mount plate, a light stand adapter, and two cheese plates for mounting accessories.
You can power the monitors via a V-mount battery, AC power, or through an 11-17V DC source.
Both monitors feature a durable all-aluminum housing with anti-crash rubber covers on the 4 corners.
The monitors come with a high-transparency screen protective glass cover, with non-detachable screws for easy installation and removal.
There are 2× Cheese Plates for attaching wireless video receivers etc., a VESA to C-stand mounting adaptor; and an on-board V-mount battery plate.
