The RL-VP4D supports 14.4V and 26V V-mount batteries, making it a versatile option for users who prefer an alternative to DJI’s TB50 batteries. A standout feature is its 5-pin copper socket, which significantly enhances the current-carrying capacity, ensuring stable power delivery.
With its 6-pin 1B DC-IN wide voltage input (DC 12- 30V) connector, the plate can efficiently manage power. However, it is not recommended for intense motion applications (e.g., high-speed vehicle-mounted shooting) due to potential stability concerns when the fourth-axis stabilization is engaged.
For documentary, indie filmmaking, and controlled environment shoots, the plate allows Ronin 4D users to leverage readily available V-mount batteries, reducing costs and increasing operational flexibility.
