The Nextorage NX-P2MG MagSafe Portable SSD can be attached to the back of the iPhone for direct video recording. It supports direct external storage recording of ProRes video with the iPhone15 Pro/Pro Max and iPhone16 Pro/ProMax.
The iPhone15 Pro/Pro Max and iPhone16 Pro/Pro Max have been tested and can directly save 4K / 60 fps ProRes videos to the NX-P2MG. Please note that 4K / 120 fps is not supported.
It supports USB 10Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen2) and it has claimed read speeds of up to 1,050 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1,000 MB/s.
A short USB-C cable is also included so that the cable does not get in the way when secured to the iPhone.
The recorded data can be used by simply plugging it into various devices such as Windows PCs and Macs. The exFAT format allows you to use the device not only with your iPhone, but also with Windows PCs, Macs, and various other devices by simply plugging it in.

The Nextorage NX-P2MG MagSafe Portable SSD is available in capacities of 1TB and 2TB.
In Japan it currently retails for 27,600 Yen (about $185 USD).
