Godox has announced its new KNOWLED P1200R Hard PRO and P600R Hard PRO full-color LED panels. These latest additions to the series are IP65-rated weatherproof, to ensure reliable performance in heavy rain, no matter how they are mounted or positioned. Godox claims that they produce excellent results when used outdoors and in studio applications.
Godox KNOWLED P1200R Hard Pro
The P1200R Hard PRO packs 1300W of power into a compact 2×1 panel that weighs 22kg / 48.5 lb. It provides high-saturation colors and precise rendering with a claimed CRI of 96+ and TLCI of 98+. The LED panel is also said to feature advanced color management, ensuring consistent hues across fixtures and seamless integration with other lights in the KNOWLED series.

This Pro version features flicker-free operation for high frame rate shooting, the same wide 1800 to 10,000K CCT range, and adjustable green-magenta shift as the previous P1200R Hard.

The light allows for dimming from 0 to 100% and it features four dimming curves: linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic. There are also 14 lighting effects and users can choose from flash, lightning, cloudy, broken bulb, TV, candle, fire, fireworks, explosion, welding, police car, SOS, RGB cycle, and party presets.
The panel supports DMX 512/RDM control and wireless LumenRadio/CRMX. Rounding out the versatility of the panel is the Godox KNOWLED app, with the option to control the light via Bluetooth from up to 98.4′ away.
There is also a USB-A port built-in for firmware updates.
The P1200R Hard PRO also features an enhanced cooling system for quieter operation and stable output during extended use. The panel has an effective fan cooling system that ensures rapid heat dissipation to maintain optimal working conditions and longevity of the device. The panel provides a consistent output and is quiet enough not to interfere with your video productions. You can choose between off, auto, medium, and high fan settings.
As it features an integrated power supply it is quick to set up and use.
It is also compatible with a full range of light-shaping tools.
It is nice that Godox makes brackets so you can stack multiple P1200R Hard PROs together.
Godox KNOWLED P600R Hard Pro
The KNOWLED P600R Hard Pro has all the same features and functionality as its larger sibling but in a more compact 1×1 form factor. It weighs 13kg / 28.66 lb and draws 670W.
