Godox has announced its new MA5R, which is being touted as an all-in-one pocket light and power bank. It was specifically designed for mobile filmmakers who shoot videos and photos with smartphones.
The MA5R is a pocket-sized device that combines a full-color light with a magnetic wireless power bank. This dual functionality allows the MA5R to operate as both a pocket light, with at least 220 minutes of runtime, and a magnetic wireless power bank. Although it is primarily designed for content creators using smartphones, the device would also be very useful for charging your phone and providing light in emergency situations.
The MA5R was designed to be very portable, with a magnetic attachment and a slim 13mm profile, making it easy to carry in your pocket.
The MA5R includes an integrated selfie light and full-color lighting. It has an adjustable CCT ranging from 1800K to 10000K.
The device can be controlled through the Godox Light App via NFC and Bluetooth. This allows users to be able to quickly adjust settings and lighting preferences directly from their phone.
