SmallRig has announced a Rotating Side Handle with Trigger REC for Selected Sony Mirrorless Cameras and a Rotating Side Handle with Trigger REC for Selected Canon / Blackmagic Design Cameras.
Both SmallRig Rotating Side Handles with Trigger REC are said to offer a secure grip and camera control. Features include an integrated shutter control, compatibility with NP-F550/570 batteries, a silicone-coated design for a comfortable grip, one-click rotation, REC button with a control cable, USB-C ports for charging, and support for fast-charging protocols.
Additional features include threaded holes, a cold shoe mount, and strap slot for accessories.
The Recording function is compatible with Sony Alpha 1 / Alpha 7 / Alpha 9 series, FX3 & FX30, Canon EOS, and Blackmagic Design BMPCC series cameras.
For Canon EOS or Blackmagic Design BMPCC cameras, NP-F550 / 570 batteries are required for REC functions. Other cameras can operate without batteries.
