The VOLTA floor battery is a modular add-on system that allows for stacking and installation of additional battery packs to expand power capacity. Each battery pack delivers a substantial 1600Wh of energy, ensuring equipment has the power to keep productions rolling without interruption. With versatile DC power outputs of 12V, 24V, 48V, and USB-C, the system can handle a total constant power load of 1700W.

The system supports up to 8 stacked battery packs, reaching a capacity of 12.8kWh to meet the long-term power supply needs of high-power cine equipment. Its industry-standard 12V and 24V connectors are compatible with a wide range of cine-level cameras and ENG camcorders, providing continuous power for extended shoots and video productions.
The VOLTA battery includes an LED screen that displays the power percentage, remaining runtime, and the health level of each battery unit. This feature ensures users stay informed about their power supply, which is critical for live productions where uninterrupted power is essential.

The VOLTA floor battery’s regulated 24V and 48V outputs make it compatible with high-power lighting fixtures such as ARRI Skypanel-X, Creamsource Vortex 4/8(s), and Aputure LS-600 series & 1200d Pro. Additionally, the 24V output supports remote heads and cine cameras, ensuring compatibility with a variety of leading brands in professional cinematography.
The VOLTA system supports solar panel charging through an XT60 interface at up to 400W. Fully chargeable in just 4.5 hours, it’s an eco-friendly and practical solution for outdoor and emergency use.
Each 1600Wh VOLTA unit comes with a built-in charger capable of full recharge in 6.5 hours. The system allows simultaneous charging and discharging, ensuring a continuous power supply to critical equipment.
Unlike traditional batteries, the VOLTA floor battery automatically enters sleep mode after 12 hours of inactivity, enabling it to retain power for over 10 years without regular charging.
SWIT’s proprietary low-temperature startup technology, combined with the use of NCM (Nickel-Cobalt-Manganese) cells, ensures the VOLTA battery functions reliably even at -20°C. This is claimed to offer a significant advantage over LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) cells, as NCM cells not only offer higher energy density but also superior low-temperature performance. This makes the VOLTA battery the ideal choice for filming in freezing conditions, where reliability and performance are paramount.
