The Salty Surf Housings’ new SIREN Sony FX6 Housing is lightweight at just 4kg and built for both surf and dive adventures.
It offers two port mounting options, a new bayonet system or compatibility with Nikonons wet lenses. Salty Surf Housings has engineered the most compact underwater setup for the FX6, featuring a custom 15-degree mounting bracket for the native FX6 monitor and support for external battery configurations. All in a compact 30cm x 19cm x 20cm design.
Optional add-ons include skids for trim weights to maintain neutral buoyancy and a top cheeseplate for extra accessories.

The Sony FX6 housing is designed to work with:
- Sony FX6 Camera (with grip and side handle removed)
- Sony FX6 monitor (mounted to top of camera with supplied bracket)
- 1x FXLION NANO TWO 98Wh 6800mAh V-Mount V-Lock Battery
- 1x FXLION battery plate
Alternatively, you can fit a Sony BP-U70 battery instead of using the FXLion Nano configuration.

Construction
- Housing Body: CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminium. Grey Anodised for corrosion resistance.

Port Options
Salty’s SIREN models offer a stackable bayonet port system for seamless and flexible lens changes.
The Sony FX6 utilises the SIREN XL Bayonet Port System as standard, and can also be configured with a custom Titanium Nikonos Port Front.
Grips
The housing comes standard with two side handles included.
Paint
The housings are anodized grey for corrosion resistance, however, you also have the option of adding a highly durable two-pack paint finish.
The paint not only provides additional corrosion protection to your housing but also provides an opportunity to customize the look of your housing.
