Bright Tangerine has unveiled a new suite of accessories that were purpose-built for the Canon C400; as well as a new universally compatible Create series for self-shooting producer-directors, filmmakers, and content creators.
Canon C400 Accessories
The Bright Tangerine Canon C400-compatible suite of accessories consists of a top plate and top plate filler. These are the first products in the new range to provide filmmakers with a range of options for customizing their Canon C400.
Using a modular design, the new Canon C400 Top Plate (B4005.1030) £95, and an additional Canon C400 Top Plate Filler (B4013.1031) £35 can be used in separate pieces to add greater versatility to your camera. With a selection of accessory threads, including a 15mm rod console, the new top plate features Bright Tangerine’s signature quality and practically-minded design.
Both the top plate and filler keep the C400’s electronic multifunction shoe free to use, and the components cater to stock Canon accessories such as the microphone shock mount. The top plate filler allows for similar customization options with the added benefit of being a centrally aligned standalone, ideal for minimal camera setups. ARRI BUD Quick Release Platform
In addition to these, Bright Tangerine also now offers the LeftField 3 BUD Spacer (B4005.1037) £15 and LeftField 3 Universal BUD Riser (B4003.1036) £75 for pairing Canon camera systems with the LeftField 3 15mm LWS Universal Baseplate (B4003.1034) for use with ARRI Balanced Utility Dovetail (BUD) products.
The new accessories ensure the correct height for 15mm LWS setups and is also compatible with other Canon products such as the Canon C500 Mark II, the Canon C300 Mark III, or the new Canon C80. Discreetly and quickly installed, the spacer makes the BUD quick-release system fully compatible with the latest Canon cameras.
Create Series
Bright Tangerine is also debuting a new Create Series of accessories designed to offer good value for money whilst retaining the premium quality that the company is known for.

Unlike the purpose-built C400 accessories, these new cheese plates and accompanying adapters are designed to be universally compatible to offer robust and long-lasting options to video creators across the market. The adapter not only angles the cheese plates but offsets them from the camera: providing useful clearance for wires. With threaded 1/4” & 3/8” anti-twist points for industry-standard equipment as well as multiple mounting orientations, this new range offers versatility for filmmakers looking for an affordable upgrade.
