The SPD-Mini features a bright color display that showcases real-time battery telemetry from smart batteries using the SMbus protocol. This allows users to monitor the remaining battery life based on the current amp draw. Five 4-pin Push-Pull Power ports and a top-mounted switch for easy control allow users to manage multiple devices easily.
A standout feature of the SPD-Mini is its unique #1 output, which powers devices like the Sound Devices 8-series recorders and passes along smart battery data to their recorder, giving audio professionals unprecedented insight into their power usage.
Additionally, the SPD-Mini supports both TA4 Smart Battery cups and USB-C inputs, defaulting to the 15V PD standard but also compatible with 12V PD. The 5V USB-C output, delivering up to 10W of power, is ideal for charging or powering smaller devices.
