FUJIFILM is planning to release a firmware update for the GFX 100II, X-H2s, and X-H2 in November that will add F-LOG2 C, support for Ambient Lockit devices, and subject detection and Face/Eye detection when shooting video.
F-Log2 C has a much larger color gamut than the current F-Log and it is very close to that of ACES.
FUJIFILM has also teamed up with Ambient so users of the GFX 100II, X-H2s, and X-H2 will be able to use Lockit devices via a wired connection. Now, I am assuming that this will have to be done through the 1/8″ / 3.5 mm TRS Stereo Microphone Input, unless Ambient and FUJIFILM have come up with some way to make it work through the USB-C port on the cameras.
FUJIFILM is also improving the AF capabilities of the GFX 100II, X-H2s, and X-H2 by enabling subject tracking and Face/Eye tracking when shooting video. Both of these were heavily requested by users.
