At IBC 2024 in Amsterdam, Atomos has announced that until the 31st October, the Ninja Ultra will be available for just $649 USD (previously $799 USD) and the Shogun Ultra gets a price reduction down to $999 USD (previously $1,199 USD).
Shogun Classic
IBC also sees the introduction of Shogun Classic, which was previously known as the Shogun 7. Unlike the current Shogun Ultra it has XLR connections and four independent, switchable SDI inputs. According o Atomom, their broadcast customers missed this level of connectivity, so hat is why they have reintroduced the product as Shogun Classic to meet this demand.
The Shogun Classic is available immediately for $999 USD excluding local sales taxes.
NDI 6 on Ninja & Shogun
Another announcement at IBC is support for NDI 6 on Ninja and Shogun. These Atomos products will support 10-bit HDR NDI in the coming months.
New Firmware Updates for the Ninja & Shogun series as well as three months free use of frame.io V4 beta

To support this enhanced camera to cloud workflow, both companies have announced complementary special offers. From 13th September, frame.io has announced three months free use of frame.io V4 beta with the purchase of any new Atomos Connect, Shogun or Shogun Ultra. This offer applies to new frame.io accounts only, not existing customers.Dropbox has announced 40% off 12-month Business or Business Plus plans with the purchase of any new Atomos monitor or monitor-recorder until 30th November 2024. Again, the offer only applies to new Dropbox accounts. Both promotions can be redeemed by registering the Atomos product at my.atomos.com.
