The AW-UB50 boasts a 24.2M full-size MOS sensor and the AW-UB10 features a 10.2M 4/3-inch MOS sensor. Common IP control protocols enable seamless operation of multiple Panasonic PTZ cameras. They also have compatibility with various IP transmission standards to help make building streaming or IP-based systems easier.

Panasonic

The minimalist body, designed specifically for video production, features a wide variety of I/O interfaces, making the camera versatile for diverse applications including multi-camera setups, streaming, and traditional production styles using tripods and gimbals.

PoE+ compatibility allows convenient power supply via a LAN cable.

Key features

  • 24.2M full-frame MOS sensor for emotional and cinematic video (AW-UB50)
  • 10.2M MOS sensor for capturing multiple subjects in a single frame (AW-UB10)
  • Wide dynamic range with V-Log (AW-UB50: 14+ stops / AW-UB10: 13 stops)
  • Compact design (height, width & depth each less than 10cm, excluding lens)
  • Unified IP control protocol compatible with Panasonic PTZ camera systems
  • Compatible with Media Production Suite for multi-camera setups with PTZ cameras
  • Planned support for IP transmission standards including NDI® HX2, RTMPS, and SRT

Dual Native ISO

Both models come with Dual Native ISO for high-sensitivity video even in low-light environments, allowing shooting with compact lighting equipment or natural light without significantly compromising video quality. This also reduces the need for extensive post-production work, such as noise reduction. In ISO Auto mode, ISO sensitivity is displayed in real time to visualize noise levels while shooting.

Log Shooting

Both models offer V-Log shooting for wide dynamic range, enabling rich tones and flexible grading with excellent highlight tolerance for fine, rich tonal gradations of dark and highlight areas (AW-UB50: 14+ stops / AW-UB10: 13 stops). In addition, when editing video from the AW-UE160W/K 4K integrated camera, V-Log helps to ensure a consistent look for highly efficient editing.

Face/Iris and Human Body Recognition

The combination of Face/Iris Recognition AF and Human Body Recognition ensures highly accurate autofocus tracking of human subjects. Precise focus on faces and eyes is achieved even with children at a distance or when the subject’s face is tilted.

Two SD Card Slots

Multple I/O Termanals

The AW-UB50/10 is equipped with terminals including 3G-SDI OUT, TC IN/OUT, GENLOCK IN, HDMI Type A, LAN, USB Type-C, φ3.5 MIC, and headphone. LAN is PoE+ compliant for power supply, allowing video transmission, control and power supply over a single LAN cable to significantly simplify on-location wiring.

Multi-camera Operation
