Tilta has announced a new Mini PD V-Mount Battery Plate that features USB-C, P-Tap, and 2-Pin Lemo connections. It is nice to see a lower-cost battery plate with Lemo connectors.
This battery plate allows users to extend the operating time of their camera and power multiple accessories via the use of larger-capacity V-Mount batteries.
The plate features integrated strap slots which allow users to connect an included security strap to their V-Mount battery. A strap may sound a little odd, but it would certainly be useful when rigging a camera to support systems such as car mounts and jibs.
Included with the battery plate is a dual rod adapter which allows it to be easily used with systems that utilize 15mm LWS rods.
The battery plate weighs 0.9 lbs and it has physical dimensions of 9 x 6 x 3.5 inches.
The battery plate also features 1/4”-20 and M4 threads on the top.
