This allows you to replace the standard optics of your RED Compact EVF or DSMC2 EVF with this DENZ Premium Optics to enhance your viewfinder’s optical quality. The upgraded ocular unit improves off-axis viewing angles and pulling focus. It offers an increased diopter range of -4 to +3. An integrated ocular heater, powered via the included 5-pin cable, reduces fogging and moisture build-up in humid or freezing conditions. A quick-connect eyecup blocks out any light to maintain visibility.
Just to be crystal clear, this is not an entire EVF, it is just the optical front part that attaches to the RED Compact EVF and DSMC2 EVF.
This isn’t the first time DENZ has collaborated with RED. They have had the DENZ Heatable Ocular Lens for RED DSMC2 OLED EVF for quite some time.
