SmallRig has announced its new Vibe P96 & P108 Pro mini LED Video Lights that are being touted as good options for photo and video content creation, including tabletop and figurine photography, portraits, light painting photography, short videos, vlogs, and ambient lighting.
These are very affordable, low output, entry level fixtures.
SmallRig Vibe P96 Pro Mini LED Video Light
The SmallRig Vibe P96 Pro Mini LED Video Light features a ring-shaped metal stepless knob design and it includes an embedded color LCD screen. The integrated quick release cold shoe base enables transitions between various lighting setups.

The light features a 5W RGBWW light source boasting a claimed CRI > 95 and TLCI > 98. The P96 is said to deliver 1160 lux at 0.98″ and 5600K. I am not sure why companies quote output figures at less than a inch!
The light features a range of built-in special effects and a built-in 1500mAh lithium polymer battery that supports USB-C charging, providing up to 1.2 hours at full power and 3 hours for regular shooting. It offers various mounting options, including 1/4″-20 threaded holes and a cold shoe mount, and the fixture’s body is made from high-strength ABS, with anodized aluminum alloy knobs and an ABS/PC softbox.
With built-in cool/warm light, HSI, and special effects modes, it can simulate 2500-6500K daylight, 36,000 color sources, and 12 special effects (lightning 1, lightning 2, TV, fireworks, candlelight, and pulse).
