Blackmagic Design Desktop Video 14.1 Update

The Blackmagic Design Desktop Video 14.1 Update adds support for keying in Rec.2020, HLG, and PQ to DeckLink 8K Pro. There is also improved compatibility with AMD EPYC processors for DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder, as well as addressing an intermittent issue with synchronized playback for DeckLink Quad 2 and Duo 2.

What’s new in Desktop Video 14.1?

New feature on DeckLink 8K Pro:

Add support for keying in Rec.2020, HLG and PQ.

Fixes on DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder:

Fix intermittent hang seen with AMD EPYC processors.
Ensure 44.1kHz audio input signals are correctly converted to 48 kHz.

Fixes on DeckLink Quad 2 and DeckLink Duo 2:

Fix audio distortion during playback on HP Z2 G4 and G5.
Ensure video output remains locked to reference input after restarting playback.
Ensure 16:9 aspect ratio is correctly reported in video payload ID.
Fix the issue causing synchronized playback to fail.
General performance improvements for all models.
