SmallRig has announced its new RT25 Handheld Tube Light with Battery Handle Grip. The RT25 is being touted as good solution for anyone shooting
events, weddings, to self-produced media, interviews, documentaries, music videos, and live streaming.

The battery handle grip features a quick release design that integrates with the tube light. It has a built-in 45Wh battery which offers up to 2 hours of continuous full-power usage on a single charge. There is a USB-C port for PD fast charging or powering the light from a battery, etc.
The RT25 Handheld Tube Light with Battery Handle Grip measures 42cm / 16.54″ when compacted and it weighs 900g / 1.98 lb, and SmallRig claims that it is 75% lighter than comparable products. It is made from anodized aluminum alloy and robust materials, and it has a IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
The light is CCT adjustable from 2500-10,000K and it is claimed to have an output of 633 Lux at 1m / 3.3′ when used at 5600K. The RT25 draws 25W.
There are on-board controls, buy you can also control it via an app.
There is no fan and it is passively cooled so it won’t make any noise when you are using it.
You can mount it via a 1/4-20″ thread, 3/8″ thread or a built-in NATO rail.
