SmallRig has unveiled its new VB99 SE mini V Mount Battery which is only currently available in the US and some EU regions.
The VB99 SE mini V Mount Battery is essentially a more affordable version of the SmallRig VB99 Mini V-Mount Battery (99Wh).
The VB99 SE mini V Mount Battery has physical dimensions of 112.0 x 72.0 x 53.8mm / 4.4 x 2.8 x 2.1 and it weighs 595.0g / 21.0oz. This makes it slightly heavier than SmallRig’s VB99 Mini V-Mount Battery (99Wh) that weighs 540g / 19oz.

TheBMS intelligent chip enables 65W (Max) fast charging, allowing for a full charge in just 3 hours.
According to SmallRig, the battery utilizes PowerADC which is SmallRig’s intelligent charging technology, encompassing chip software, hardware circuits, compact structural design, and heat dissipation solutions.
The battery features a fire-resistant, heat-resistant and flame-retardant casing and an OLED display.
SmallRig states that their new battery features 8 built-in LG A-grade 18650 batteries with 3400mAh per density cell to ensure accurate capacity and cycle performance.
The VB99 SE mini V Mount Battery could be used to power cameras, laptops, low power draw lights, monitors, etc.
The battery has a 3/8″ thread on the back and a 1/4-20″ on the bottom so you could use those to mount it if you don’t have a V-mount battery plate.
