SmallRig has announced its new Lightweight Video Tripod Kit AD-50 Series the consists of the Lightweight Video Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit AD-50 and the Lightweight Video Tripod Kit AD-50Lite.
Lightweight Video Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit AD-50
The Lightweight Video Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit AD-50 is essentially a lighter and more affordable version of SmallRig’s bigger Heavy-Duty Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit AD-120.
The tripod weighs 2.8kg / 6.2lbs and it features carbon fiber legs. The head has a payload capacity of 6.0kg / 13.2lbs, with stepless tilt damping adjustment.
The minimum height for the tripod is 73cm / 28.7″ and the maximum height is 163cm / 64.2″.

The Lightweight Video Tripod Kit AD-50Lite doesn’t go quite as low or as high as the Lightweight Video Carbon Fiber Tripod Kit AD-50. It has a max height of 158cm / 62.2″ and minimum height of 75cm / 29.5″.
