ARRI SAM-10 Plate

At Cine Gear 2024 in Los Angeles, ARRI was showing its new SAM-10 plate which allows you to use very long and heavy lenses like the Canon CINE-SERVO 50-1000mm T5.0-8.9 zoom without needing rods.

It offers a rod free set up and it only weighs 640g / 22.57 oz. That makes it considerably lighter than running something like the Compact Bridge Plate CBP-5 (19mm).

The SAM-10 attaches directly to the BUD-1 and it will interface with any standard dovetail. It features 3/8″ screws along the bottom.

At the front it has a mounting screw that goes into the lens support of lenses like the Canon CINE-SERVO 50-1000mm T5.0-8.9 zoom. The mounting screw also has a reasonable range of adjustability.
