In the latest ARRI Tech Talk, Timo Singer who is a Virtual Production Software Developer at ARRI demonstrates the SkyPanel X digital twin beta.
In the video he shows you how it can interact with a digital version of a prototype motorized yoke from ClayPaky. There isn’t much information about the motorized yoke, but it looks very interesting.
ARRI has developed a plug-in for Unreal Engine 5 that contains 3D data of the physical fixture and all of its accessories and it can replicate all of its lighting characteristics and color science in a virtual environment. It also has a DMX interface which allows it to be controlled like the actual SkyPanel X.
