- Click the Motor tab above, then select MOTR.S from the Choose Motor Model menu.
- Press and hold the axis select button on the MOTR.S.
- While holding down the axis button, connect the motor to the middle motor port on your MDR device. The F and Z LEDs on the MOTR.S should blink repeatedly.
- Upload the firmware file from the web or your computer to the RT manager, then click the Start Upgrade button.
- RT Manager will indicate when the firmware upgrade is complete.
In case you are not familiar with the MOTR.S, it is an ultra-lightweight, compact, and blazing fast at up to 297 teeth per second. RT users can now daisy-chain motors, utilize power inputs up to 32V, and streamline camera rigging with a revolutionary quick-release gear system and new ergonomic rod clamps. MOTR.S will be compatible with all previous RT handsets, receivers, and daisy-chainable motors (MOTR.X).
This add-on motor comes with one 0.8 gear. No motor cables are included.
The MOTR.S lens motor is bundled with Teradek’s MOTR.S FIZ Kit and MOTR.S Single Channel Kit for full motor control of focus, iris, and/or zoom, as well as the optional MOTR.S MAX for up to 3X sustained torque for stiff, resistant dials on heavy-duty lenses.
