NANLITE Expands PavoSlim lineup with 240B, 240C and 60CL

Today, NANLITE is introducing three new models in two different sizes. The PavoSlim 240B bi-color and 240C RGBWW are both 2’x2’ foldable LED panels with impressive output, and the RGBWW PavoSlim 60CL is an elongated 2’ x 0.5’ panel that is great for tight spaces.
NANLITE states that it has highly accurate color rendering and class-leading light output. It joins the existing PavoSlim 2’x1’ and 1’x1’ options to form a complete lineup of super portable lights that can be set up in moments and run on either AC or battery power.

The PavoSlim 240B and 240C are nice, big, soft lights. Both lights feature a convenient foldable hinged design for portability and fast setup, giving a new option for higher power and larger area illumination. They are slim, with the panels being only 2.86cm thick when unfolded. Maximum output is an impressive stated 22,990 lux@1m (light only, 5600K) for the PavoSlim 240B, and 24,970 lux@1m (light only, 5600K) for the PavoSlim 240C, all from a rated power input of just 260W.

The PavoSlim 240B/240C can be powered by AC power, DC power and V-mount batteries, with all power supply methods supporting full power output. The kit comes with a 5m DC connection cable as standard.

The PavoSlim 240C features NANLITE’s advanced RGBWW color mixing technology, giving a srared range in CCT mode of 2700K-7500K with G/M adjustment of ±150. Average CRI is 96 and average TLCI is 97. In HSI Mode, the hue, saturation, and intensity of light can be quickly adjusted with the option of 36,000 colors. In RGBW mode, it offers control of four separate channels: red, green, blue, and white, enabling more color precision. Usefully it also has 151 built-in color gel emulations that can be used to match scenes or add ambience, eliminating the need to install physical gels. It is also equipped with 15 different film and TV lighting effects that can be customized via the control unit or remotely.

The PavoSlim 240B is a bi-color LED with a CCT range of 2700K-6500K with an average CRI average of 95 and average TLCI 97. It is equipped with 12 effects that emulate real scene lighting effects.

These features make the PavoSlim 240B and 240C ideal for interviews, small—to medium-sized studios, and film and television productions.

The PavoSlim 60CL

The 2’ x 0.5’ size of the PavoSlim 60CL, together with its separate control unit with built-in power supply, makes it especially well suited for in-vehicle, confined spaces and low ceilings shots. The utility of the LED panel is further enhanced by its super-light weight, making it possible to mount practically anywhere, or handhold on-set for extended periods if required.

As with the PavoSlim 240C, the 60CL features HSI, RGBW, 151 in-built color gel emulations, and 15 different film and TV lighting effects. Critically, it also has a green/magenta (G/M) shift function for accurate matching with other light sources.

With a powerful maximum output of 7,094 lux@1m (light only, 5600K), the PavoSlim 60CL has approximately the same output as its sister light, the 1’ x 1’ PavoSlim 60C, offering the user the choice of different form factors. Combined with the included softbox, the PavoSlim 60CL creates a powerful soft source that can beautifully illuminate your subject.

The PavoSlim 60CL can be powered by AC power, V-mount batteries or NP-F batteries. All power supply methods support full power output, making the PavoSlim 60CL suitable for both indoor and outdoor scenarios. The kit comes with a 2.6m DC connection cable as standard.
