Miller Tripods, has unveiled its new Solo-Q Pod monopod. The Solo-Q Pod is designed to be robust and long-lasting and it employs the same technology and materials used in Miller’s popular Solo-Q tripod but in a monopod configuration.
The Solo-Q Pod weighs 2.2lbs / 1kg and features a height range between 23″ / 59cm and 69″ / 173cm.
The monopod utilizes Miller’s patented Solo-Q lock/release system for fast setups, and it has 3-stage rapid leg locks. The payload capacity of the Solo-Q Pod is up to 22 lbs / 10kg.
The swivel rubber foot can be interchanged with an optional Miller monopod base stand for additional flexibility. The camera can be mounted directly onto the monopod or via a Miller AirV head.

The Miller Solo-Q Pod Monopod is now available to pre-order for $301.32 USD. It is expected to start shipping within the next few weeks.
Miller Tripods makes great support equipment and the Solo-Q Pod Monopod is bound to be a popular choice for shooters, but it will face stiff competition from other companies who have similar offerings.
