AJA U-TAP v1.5.7 has been released. v1.5.7 adds enhanced Zoom software compatibility on Apple silicon and other improvements.

Resolves an issue where using Zoom v5.16.x with a U-TAP HDMI or U-TAP SDI video shows scrambled or blinds effect with Apple silicon Macs.
Resolves an issue where the Info.plist within the U-TAP updater package was incorrect.

The Zoom application offers multiple ways to select and configure a connected U-TAP.

If you are not familiar with the AJA U-TAP they are USB 3.0-powered HDMI and SDI capture devices.

The U-TAP offers easy, cost effective and portable solutions for plug and play capture that is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems and a broad range of creative applications. From video conferencing, streaming, social media, gaming and more.

The U-TAP is smaller than a smartphone, with USB connectivity that provides a quick and easy way to connect SDI or HDMI sources (depending on the version) for capture, without the need to install additional software drivers.
