Viltrox has released the Retro 08X and Retro 12X portable RGB LED lights that have a CCT range of 2500-8500K, APP control, and 26 lighting effects.
The Retro 08X and Retro 12X are small sized portable lights with low power draws. The Retro 08X draws 8W and the Retro 12X draws 12W. Both fixtures feature built-in batteries and according to Viltrox, the Retro 08X can be used for up to 3.5 hours at 100% and the Retro 12X will run for up to 2 hours at 100% output. The Retro 08X takes 7 hours to charge, while the Retro 12X only takes 3.5 hours.
The Retro 12X also has the added benefit of being able to be powered via a power bank through a USB-C input.
The Retro 08X has a claimed output of 150lx @1m, and the Retro 12X has a claimed output of 337lx @1m. The Retro 12X also comes with a plastic style diffuser that you can use to soften the light.
The lights offer full RGB capabilities, and as I mentioned earlier, there is vast array of effects you can choose from.
You can control both lights using a free APP, a remote controller or by using controls directly on the light itself.
