The Knowing was filmed on the BURANO and VENICE 2 digital cinema cameras by 3x Academy Award-winning cinematographer Emmanuel “Chivo” Lubezki
Chico, and conservation photographers Cristina Mittermeier and Paul Nicklen, co-founders of SeaLegacy, traveled to Western Australia with Sony’s new digital cinema camera, the BURANO, to capture footage of the endangered Southern Right Whale and to create an important film on the ocean and the future of the planet.

The team as put Sony’s new digital cinema camera, the BURANO. The filmmakers also combined the VENICE 2 with the BURANO to show the image quality of the new BURANO.
