SABRENT has announced a new USB-C Universal Docking Station, Dual Monitor Displaylink Dock for Laptops, Ultrabooks, Chromebooks, MacBooks, iPads, Tablets & Smartphones (DS-UICA).
The SABRENT USB-C Universal Docking Station (DS-UICA) has a wide variety of ports and capabilities. Everything is connected through a 10Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2×1) USB-C upstream host port designed for modern machines.
Downstream it has two 10Gbps USB-C ports, two 5Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 1×1) USB-A ports, and two 480Mbps (USB 2.0) USB-A ports. The first four are capable of delivering 5V/1.5A.
The dock including dual video output via two pairs of HDMI 2.0 and DP ports with the optional use of a single USB-C port for display. You can simultaneously output up to 4K@60Hz with DSC and connect to your network and Internet at up to 1000Mbps with wired Gigabit Ethernet (1GbE).
You can also easily access your content with the built-in, dual microSD/SD card reader with UHS-I (104MBps) support. On top of that, there’s three 3.5mm ports for audio out, microphone, and one for audio in/out. SABRENT includes a USB-C to USB-C cable and an external power adapter to power everything with device charging up to 80W.
The docking station has a cradle for your device of choice with front-facing LEDs.
Please note that Display output requires DisplayLink drivers which are available for Microsoft Windows 7+, macOS 10.6+, Android 5.0+, ChromeOS R51+, and Ubuntu 14.04. Other Linux-based systems may also work.
