The SmartSystem SM7-PRO-3G monitor was designed specifically to be super sturdy, fanless, stabilizer optimized and have 3200nits of brightness.
The SM7-PRO-3G also features a new internally developed communication protocol called XTBus that will allow you to connect new products in a dedicated network where they can share information and data.
The monitor also has Adaptive Brightness control and is water resistant. Because it is completely fanless and in aluminum, the temperature changes shrink and enlarge the outer shell making it able to manage the sudden water like rain on dedicated water paths granting to continue shooting without worrying too much.

The monitor is equipped with a 7″ Ultra Hyper Bright LCD panel with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a contrast ratio of 1200:1. There are default Log to Rec 709 conversion LUTS such as Log-C, C-Log, S-Log2, S-Log3, V-Log, RedLogFilm, etc. You can also load up your own LUTs via a USB thumb drive.
Having Adaptive Brightness control is a nice feature for a monitor that is going to be used in conjunction with stabilizers as there will always be times where you are going in and out of varying lighting conditions. The Adaptive Brightness control can be turned on or off and it can be assigned to any one of the 8 assignable buttons on the front of the monitor.

Yes, the monitor doesn’t have 6G or 12G SDI inputs or outputs, but because it is primarily being aimed as a monitoring solution for high end stabilizers I don’t think that matters.
For power there is also an optional V-lock or ABGold Mount battery plate available.
The monitor has a power consumption of 25W and it weighs 1.3kg / 2.7 lbs. It has a working temperature of -20C to 40C.
