The SISU Cinema Robotics Battery Box was primarily designed as a remote power solution for motion control robot users. This looks to be a good solution for anyone who needs to run MRMC robots remotely on location or SISU Cinema Robotics own C14, C20, C31 solutions.
The Battery Box is claimed to be able to power a motion control robot for up to 8+ hours. You can also plug the Battery Box into wall power to trickle charge it and it will run your robot indefinitely.
As the Battery Box has standard AC outputs you could also use it to power any other type of equipment. There is also 3-phase power available which is also handy.
The SISU Cinema Robotics Battery Box is able to provide a continuous output of 8.7kVA, and a peak output of up to 16.6kVA. The battery itself has a capacity of 5.1kWh.
Now, power solutions such as this or not small, nor are they lightweight! The SISU Cinema Robotics Battery Box weighs in at a whopping 595 lbs / 270 kg and it has physical dimensions of 34.3′ (L) x 21.8″ (W) x 39.5′ (H).
There is no pricing listed on the SISU Cinema Robotic’s website, but It isn’t going to be cheap given its capabilities and size.
