Austrian Audio has unveiled MiCreator Studio, an ultra-flexible pocket recording system that combines a condenser microphone and a USB-C audio interface into a single device.
MiCreator Studio can be used for recording music, podcasting, field recording, interviews, etc.
It was designed to be very small and compact and it can fit into your pocket. It features a condenser microphone and a built-in audio interface, as well as onboard controls, a line input, and a range of expansion options.

There are three different microphone sensitivity options you can choose from, including a ‘Low Gain’ setting that can handle up to 130 dB SPL. An additional input allows you to do multi-track recording or optional stereo recording.
Microphone options
The optional MicCreator Y-Lav Lavalier microphone features direct latency-free monitoring.
Users are able to record two simultaneous sources by tethering MiCreator Y-Lav to MiCreator Studio, which allows you to free up the Studio mic for another source. You can also connect MiCreator Satellite or MiCreator Y-Lav to a camera with a Y adapter (1x TRRS to 2x TRS).

The MiCreator System Set includes a MiCreator Studio and a satellite MiCreator microphone. By using the satellite microphone, users can capture high-quality audio in stereo, while achieving ideal mic placement with the included MiniBar stereo bar. Accessories include two customizable faceplates and a custom case to keep your rig protected.
Both MiCreator Studio and MiCreator System Set come with Steinberg Cubase LE digital audio workstation or Wavelab Cast for podcasts and social media.

MiCreator Studio, which includes the single microphone/interface unit, is priced at $199 USD. The system includes a condenser microphone, line input, onboard controls, and expansion options.
The MiCreator Satellite which can be bought separately is priced at $99 USD.
