Accsoon’s SeeMo HDMI and SeeMo Pro SDI for iPhone and iPad now allow you to transfer HD clips to a remote editor by using Frame.io’s Camera to Cloud integration.
All you need to do is to have a SeeMo and an iPhone or iPad attached to a camera, start the Accsoon SEE app, and you are ready to upload your shots to Frame.io. Clips are recorded to the iOS device at up to 1080/60P and encoded in h.264 at up to 30Mbps to reduce upload times.
The SeeMo relies on the power of iOS to manage this integration with Frame.io. The device’s Wi-Fi or cellular data connection replaces the need for a separate data dongle. If required, the Wi-Fi connection can also be used to connect to Frame.io via third-party bonded cellular solutions.
Another great feature is the ability to select and upload pre-recorded clips from your iOS device Camera Roll to Frame.io. This can be any compatible video file including those shot using the phone or tablet, or even screen recordings. Additionally, the SeeMo can record and upload from other video sources such as games consoles, video decks and output from video switchers.
As soon as you start recording on the Accsoon SEE app, the clip automatically starts uploading to Frame.io’s servers as it doesn’t have to wait for the clip to finish recording. If you have a fast data connection this means that clips can be available on Frame.io seconds after recording finishes. This is handy for content creators, news organisations, sports, e-sports, live events, corporations, NGOs, schools, colleges and a wide variety of other applications where material needs to bee published or broadcast quickly.
Video clips from the SeeMo can appear automatically inside Adobe Premiere Pro when using Frame.io
Not only can SeeMo record and upload files to Frame.io, it simultaneously transforms the iPhone or iPad into a video monitor. Thanks to the high brightness, high accuracy screens of the latest iPhones and iPads the image quality can rival that of top-end dedicated monitors. It offers professional features like focus peaking, pinch-to-magnify, image-flip, waveforms, audio level meters, false color and more, all via touch control.
