Tentacle Sync received lots of requests from customers wanting a cable to use with the Sony FX3 and FX30, so they decided to make the Micro-USB Timecode cable for the Sony FX3 / FX30.
Tentacle Sync’s aim was to make a cable that was easy to use, small, and lightweight. The cable connects directly from any Tentacle SYNC E or ORIGINAL timecode generator via the multi/micro USB port of a Sony FX3 or Sony FX30 and feeds timecode as metadata into the video files. It is also a cost-effective and smarter alternative to other adapter cables currently on the market.

This adapter cable is only intended for use with a Tentacle ORIGINAL/ SYNC E/TRACK E unit in conjunction with a Sony FX3 or FX30. For use with devices from other manufacturers, Tentacle Sync can not guarantee whether this works or if damage may occur.
