Wise Advanced has announced its new 2TB CFexpress Type B Mark II card.
The 2TB CFexpress Type B Mark II version uses the same technology as the smaller capacities, a 12nm chip and advanced NAND flash memory, which generates less heat while maintaining high sustained performance.
The card has a claimed sustained write speed of up to 1300 MB/s and this also allows the 2TB media to handle the storage-consuming RAW recordings. According to Wise Advanced, you can capture around 30-45 minutes of 8K RAW 60P footage (depending on the camera).
Card manufacturers tend to know in advance what cameras are coming and Frank Wang, Senior Product Manager of Wise Advanced was quoted as saying “We are ready and excited to see which new cameras will appear…maybe this summer?”

The Wise CFexpress Type B Mk-II cards will be available at the end of July 2023 and will retail for US$749.99.
