The amaran P60C & P60X are punchy compact lights, but they use the somewhat awkward light stand mount that mounts to a receiving pin. This design is cheaper to produce, and price is important in the amaran series.
I’m not a fan of this design as they are awkward to adjust, and the pin unscrews from the fixture easily. It’s a bit of a mess.
If you want to make the amaran P60C & P60X more traditional, a new yoke upgrade kit is available from ProAm USA.
The custom yoke is made of aluminum for the Aputure Amaran P60C and P60X. This yoke allows quick and easy tilting of the LED panel, even when fully loaded with batteries and the softbox.

Mini V-Lock Assembly Kit 
The yoke has a tap for adding a V-Mount plate, giving longer run times. One potential issue is the mount has only one screw to hold it in place and could twist over time.
