Wooden Camera has announced its Elite Accessory System for the ARRI ALEXA 35.
The Elite Accessory System for ALEXA 35 consists of the Baseplate System, the Side Rail System, the Top Plate System, the CCH-5 Handle Adapter Kit, Accessory Kit for PDM-1, Ultra Handle System (Universal 3/8″-16), and the Antenna Relocation Bracket
Together, these components provide four-sided protection and support for rod- and thread-mounted accessories such as onboard monitors, EVFs, lens motors, lens supports, follow focus units, matte boxes, magic arms, video and audio transmitters, and more.
Other items you can buy include the Ultra Handle System, and the Steadicam Plate.
Starting at the top, the modular Top Plate System includes Front Top Plate, Middle, and Rear plates, a Front Dual Rod Clamp, an Upper Dual Rod Clamp (both 15mm LWS), and the Antenna Guard Color Kit. The anti-twist ¼”-20 and 3/8″-16 thread patterns let you mount accessories anywhere on the top plate segments. When you’re shooting multicamera content, the set of five antenna guards in black, red, blue, green, and yellow help you identify your cameras at a glance.
The Side Rail System consists of left– and right-side brackets that are each outfitted with a sensor plane mark, a tape hook, a rosette mount that is ideal for attaching a handgrip, and several ¼”-20 and 3/8″-16 threads.
To support your ALEXA 35, Wooden Camera offers a Baseplate System comprising the dedicated ALEXA 35 Baseplate with 15mm LWS rod support and an Arca-type riser plate that fits on a separately available ARRI-style bridge plate.
For carrying or operating your ALEXA 35 you can use the existing ARRI CCH-5 handle by adding the CCH-5 Handle Adapter Kit, or you could choose to use the L-shaped Ultra Handle Universal System.
