CORE SWX has announced new Helix Battery Brackets for SmallHD Monitors. These are available in AB Gold mount, V-mount, or B-mount.
The Dual Battery Bracket for SmallHD Production Monitors gives users the ability to power production monitors using 14v or dual voltage Helix Max batteries.
The Battery Bracket will work with all of SmallHD’s 4K production monitors.
The smart battery bracket slides down the Arca Swiss SmartRail located on the back of your monitor. This allows you to power your monitor and create a cable-less power connection.

The dual battery bracket also enables hot-swapping between the two battery plates, allowing for an uninterrupted power supply. It also allows for hot-swapping between the battery plate and the monitor itself using the 3-pin XLR power port.
The inclusion of 2x P-taps, each providing up to 2A of power, allows you to also power accessories from the bracket.
SmallHD does offer its own Dual V-Mount Battery Bracket (14v/26v) and Dual V-Mount Battery Bracket (14v/26v) for SmallHD 4K Monitors, however, they don’t offer a B-mount version. It is nice to see a third-party plate now available.
