Viltrox has announced its new AF 16mm f/1.8 Lens for Sony E Mount Full Frame Mirrorless Cameras.
This wide-angle lens features a built-in LCD display, water-resistant Nano multi-layer coating, custom function buttons, and an AF/MF switch.
The LED display lets you see a range of operating parameters.

The optical design of the lens consists of 12 Groups of 15 optical elements, with three built-in aspherical lenses and 9 aperture blades. Viltrox claims it is able to achieve ultra-high resolution. The high-definition nano-multilayer coating and 4 ED lenses are claimed to effectively control dispersion, ghosting, and glare.
The lens features a quiet STM stepping motor that is claimed to provide a high driving force for precise autofocus and tracking. The AF also supports face and eye focus recognition.
