At NAB 2023, Kinotehnik was showing the Practilite Wireless Bluetooth DMX system. If you use different brand lights on set and want to control them in one app the Practilite can achieve this. The only catch is the fixture has to have a DMX option.
PractiLink device connects via Bluetooth and can control up to 64 DMX channels.

The upcoming update for the App will also provide DMX profiles to most commonly used fixtures to do so with ease.

Being able to adjust the lights, control the color temperature and dim the lights from across a room with a mobile device is very handy. It’s a simple device that could make setting up lights wirelessly much easier, especially when using several different brands that all have different apps to control them.
The Practilite Remote Control app is available in both iOS and Android. You can control up to six Practilite instruments.
To connect, tap the magnifying glass with „+“ in it. Repeat the procedure for any remaining Practilites you want to be set up.
To identify which channel is connected to which instrument, you tap the „eye“and it will blink the associated light.
