Vaxis S5 5" Wireless Transceiver Monitor

At NAB 2023, Vaxis was showing a prototype of its yet-to-be-announced S5 5″ Wireless Transceiver Monitor. This monitor is based on the Atom A5 series, but it features SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs.

The S5 also features dual-band capabilities so it will work in either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz frequency range.

When used as TX unit it can send a signal simultaneously to two compatible Vaxis RX units as well as up to 3 smart devices.

The Vaxis View iOS app is also claimed to have been updated to include better features and functionality.

Price & Availability

Although the monitor is still a prototype, Vaxis told us that they hope to have it shipping within the next 3 months. It is expected to retail for $619 USD.
