Angelbird has introduced new microSD V30 cards in capacities up to 512GB for use with drones, 360°, and POV action cameras in up to 6K with a write speed of 80 MB/s.
The sustained speed performance of these microSD cards eliminates the potential for dropped frames or production errors commonly experienced with video production.
The A2-rated card ensures faster app loading and extended performance on Android smartphones and tablets.
The microSD V30 cards are qualified for use with popular drone and action cameras from GoPro, Insta360, DJI, etc. They will also work with Android devices, as well as Nintendo Switch gaming consoles.
The PRO microSD V30UHS-I A2 cards are available in capacities of 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. They feature sustained read speeds of up to 95MB/s and sustained write speeds of 80MB/s.
They were purposely built and tested for drone and action camera performance in harsh environmental conditions. Card data is protected from shock, x-ray, moisture, and extreme temperatures (-25° C to 85° C and storage temperatures of -40° C to 85° C.)
The cards include a full-sized SD card and when combined with an Angelbird SD Dual Card Reader you can offload your material pretty quickly.
In a nice touch, the cars feature a smooth sticker-free card surface and an etched serial number to prevent potential jams or card mix-ups.
As with Angelbird cards, you get a free data recovery service that provides users with a 3-year limited warranty period that covers physical damage and/or software issues such as data or file corruption. The 3-year limited warranty can be activated via Angelbird’s website within 30 days of purchase.
