AirTaging your kit is becoming a thing, and Global Dynamics United and MUTINY have teamed up to release the HVT (High-Value Target) line of AirTag camera body caps for PL, EF, E, and RF mount. The new body caps were in development and testing for over a year to bring a high-quality solution for theft prevention and camera recovery.
GDU / MUTINY HVT AirTag body caps offer a low profile, incognito approach to camera tracking. They are made of High Impact Multi-Jet Fusion (MJF) polymer and come with an HVT 3″ GDU / MUTINY sticker.
The HVT body cap features stealth encapsulation from inside the cap via a tool-free screw-in cover plate.
The HVT allows tracking of your camera body over 3200 miles using NFC and Bluetooth. If a camera goes missing and you use the “Find My” function on your mobile device or iPhone, the police can assist in recovery with a precise location.
The GDU / MUTINY HVT AirTag system also can benefit insurance companies and rental houses by reducing theft and COI payouts. This is done by enabling the ability to track the camera package. The renter uses their AirTags, which offers peace of mind for the rental house, the client, and the issuer of the insurance certificate.

The Global Dynamics United / MUTINY HVT AirTag Body Caps retail for $45 USD each and are available in PL, ED, RF, and E mount. They can be purchased directly from GDU on the West Coast or MUTINY on the East Coast.
