Accsoon has released a major update to the SeeMo HDMI adapter for iPhone and iPad that minimizes latency and adds new features. The CineView range of wireless transmitters and receivers and their companion Accsoon GO iOS app have also been updated. In addition, the new black version of the SeeMo is now officially shipping.
SeeMo HDMI latency improvements
Using the advanced performance of the SeeMo and the incredible processing power of the latest iPhone and iPad models, Accsoon states the combination’s latency now rivals high-end professional HDMI field monitors. This allows SeeMo to offer a genuine solution for critical monitoring applications and especially pulling focus where a lower delay time for monitoring is beneficial.
New SeeMo features
The new SeeMo firmware version 1.4 and Accsoon SEE app version 1.0.3 enables USB-C-equipped iPads to be now charged at 1.5A from the SeeMo while in operation. The amount that an image is zoomed in while checking focus using the SeeMo app is now displayed as a percentage on-screen. The Histogram function has also been improved, and the overall stability of the app and firmware has been enhanced.
CineView firmware & iOS app updated
The CineView range of wireless transmitters and receivers and their companion Accsoon GO iOS app have also been updated with a new key feature that automatically saves a video file if the HDMI signal drops out while recording onto your iOS device. The audio level meters have been re-designed and Histogram is improved.
To perform the update you need to update the relevant iOS app first and then follow the prompts to update the device firmware. It is important to have a fully charged battery on both phone/tablet and SeeMo or CineView.
