ARRI has announced an update for its lighting control app Stellar and a firmware update for the SkyPanel series. In addition, they have also updated the Photometrics App.
Stellar 2.6.3
Stellar is ARRI’s lighting control app for iOS and Android phones and tablets that provides a smart and innovative way to control professional lighting equipment. Stellar 2.6.3 now supports the Orbiter accessories Fresnel Lens 15-65° and Projection Optics 25° and 35°. It allows for automated control of zoom (Fresnel) and focus (Projection Optics).
SkyPanel Firmware 4.4 Update
SkyPanel Firmware updates are free and ARRI has released countless updates since the SkyPanel series was first announced many years ago. SkyPanel Firmware 4.4 adds new features such as DMX Presets and LumenRadio CRMX2 for S360-C.
If you want to save a new DMX Preset you can now choose your DMX settings in the menus, and then long-press “Menu” and “Preset”. Now your DMX Preset is saved. Conversely, if you want to load a previously defined DMX preset you just short-press “Menu” and “Preset”, and choose a DMX Preset from the list. When you get into the specific preset, you will get a summary of what is recorded.
LumenRadio CRMX2 for S360-C allows you to choose between a classic LumenRadio CRMX pairing or the improved CRMX2 protocol.
Photometrics App 4.7.3
ARRI’s Photometrics app has been updated to version 4.7.3. It provides all the photometric data of the new Orbiter optics and accessories including the Projection Optic 25° and 35°, the Fresnel Lens, Dome Mini, and Glass Cover. With this app, you can also compare ARRI fixtures.
