Tilta has announced a new monitor cage for the Atomos Ninja V & V+ that offers additional protection for your monitor while expanding your options for rigging the monitor and mounting accessories.
The Tilta Monitor cage for Atomos Ninja V/V+ weighs in at 239g / 8.43 oz. and is made out of aluminum alloy.
The cage features multiple 1/4″-20 threads with and without locating pins to attach accessories to the cage or to attach the entire cage to your camera, support system, or follow focus station.
The top of the cage features NATO rail for mounting additional accessories like our NATO Top Handle or Wireless Controller for Tilta Mirage which can connect to the Variable ND Filter of a Mirage Matte Box or a wireless lens control motor. The integrated Cold Shoe Receiver can be used in conjunction with Tilta’s Cold Shoe Bracket in order to mount an additional monitor on top of the cage if you needed to do multi-cam monitoring.
There is also an included Cable Clamp that can help secure your HDMI cables and prevent them from coming loose while shooting.
The Tilta Monitor cage for Atomos Ninja V/V+ is also compatible with the Shinobi as well and you can use the cage with the Atomos sunshade.
